Special Operators Need Easier Access To Artificial Intelligence
The US Special Operations Command is seeking artificial intelligence tools that can operate effectively in remote, disconnected environments, enabling faster decision-making and more efficient use of mission-critical data. According to officials at the Global SOF Foundation’s SOF Week event, SOCOM is looking for frameworks that extend the power of cloud computing closer to the tactical edge, as well as versions of large language models that require less computing power.
