Agency Opens Competition For Earth Observation Mission
NASA has released a draft request for proposals for the Landsat 10 spacecraft, targeting a 2031 launch for the Earth observation mission. The selected contractor will handle spacecraft design, engineering, development, and testing for a single observatory, including integrating the Landsat Next Instrument Suite. The agency plans to award a firm-fixed-price and time-and-materials contract with a potential performance period of about five and a half years. This development was first reported by GovCon Wire.
