Boosting Installation Crisis Response Amid Growing Threats
The US Army hosted the Defense Critical Infrastructure summit at Fort Bragg to address growing threats to its installations. The summit brought together over a dozen agencies to game-out worst-case scenarios, including drone attacks and cyber breaches, and identify best practices for critical infrastructure defense. According to Brandon Pugh, principal cyber advisor to the secretary of the Army, the threat is real, persistent, and growing, and the Army is implementing a pilot program to bolster critical infrastructure defense across 14 installations.
