US Carrier Expands European Presence With Daily Nonstop Service
Alaska Airlines has launched its first nonstop daily service from Seattle Tacoma International Airport to London-Heathrow Airport, marking a significant expansion of its European presence. The Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner flight, which departed Seattle on May 21, 2026, and arrived safely in London, is part of the carrier’s year-round daily service. Alaska Airlines has also announced plans to operate a new nonstop Boeing 737-8 MAX service to Reykjavík, Iceland, starting May 28, 2028.
