Transatlantic Flight Diverted To Nantes After Declaring Emergency
An Air France transatlantic flight from Paris to Guadeloupe was forced to declare an emergency and divert to Nantes Atlantique Airport in western France. The Boeing 777-300ER, registered as F-GZNL, had departed Paris on schedule but made a sharp U-turn back toward the French mainland after transmitting a transponder code 7700 indicating an emergency.
