Airline Increases Freight Capacity Amid Growing Demand
Air China Cargo has increased its order for Airbus A350F cargo aircraft from six to 10, just six months after the initial purchase agreement. The airline aims to optimize its fleet structure and expand transport capacity to better meet international air cargo demand. According to Wang Hongyan, Vice President of Air China Cargo, the additional order will allow the carrier to lay a solid foundation for long-term stable development. Airbus announced the order increase on May 26, 2026, with delivery of the first A350F still scheduled for 2027 despite production challenges, as reported by AeroTime.
