Modified Growler System Offers Non-Kinetic Electronic Attack
RTX has developed a new electronic attack capability based on the Next Generation Jammer Mid-Band pod, modifying it to work from assets on land or at sea. The Raytheon Surface Electronic Attack System is designed to generate non-kinetic effects to prevent adversaries from targeting high-value assets. According to Chuck Angus, Director Electronic Attack Systems at Raytheon, the system is tailorable and can be used with tactical vehicles, unmanned surface ships, or in fixed locations.
