Helo Maker Partners With Ascent AeroSystems For Full Suite Of Drones
Robinson Helicopter has announced the launch of a new company branch, Robinson Unmanned, which will partner with subsidiary Ascent AeroSystems to provide a full suite of remotely piloted and autonomous drones for commercial and military partners. The new venture will offer Group 1 through Group 4 drones, excluding only the largest Group 5 category. According to CEO David Smith, the move is part of the company’s long-term strategy to expand into the unmanned systems market. The announcement was first reported by Breaking Defense.
