Defense Spending Plan Faces Uncertainty In Congress
The Pentagon has finalized its $1.5 trillion budget request for fiscal 2027, which includes procurement of more aircraft and ships, as well as investments in space and drone dominance. However, the request’s fate in Congress is uncertain, with some lawmakers questioning the feasibility of such a large budget.
