First Crewed Lunar Journey in Decades Takes Shape
The four astronauts selected for NASA’s Artemis II mission have arrived in Florida, entering the final phase of preparations for the first crewed journey toward the Moon in more than five decades. The crew, consisting of NASA astronauts Reid Wiseman, Victor Glover, and Christina Koch, and Canadian Space Agency astronaut Jeremy Hansen, will ride inside an Orion crew capsule on the Space Launch System rocket. The mission is expected to launch as soon as April 1 and will send the crew on a high-speed loop around the Moon and back. This development was reported by Newsonair.
