To mark International Women’s Day, Air France operated a special flight to New York carrying France’s official delegation to the 69th session of the UN Commission on the Status of Women. The flight, crewed predominantly by women, including both pilots, was a symbolic gesture of support for gender equality. Air France has also been actively involved in initiatives to combat sexism and domestic violence, and has made strides in increasing women’s representation in technical and operational roles, with women now making up 17.5% of aircraft maintenance roles and 34.6% of managerial positions.
