Delta Distributes $1.3B to Employees in Annual Profit-Sharing

Atlanta Carrier Rewards Workers With One Of Largest Payouts In History

Delta Air Lines has distributed $1.3 billion to its employees as part of its annual profit-sharing program, with the largest share going to Georgia-based workers. The payout, which represents 8.9% of eligible annual earnings, is one of the largest in Delta’s history and exceeds the combined profit-sharing distributions of all other US airlines. CEO Ed Bastian noted that the company has distributed over $11 billion directly to employees since 2015. The profit-sharing program is a core component of Delta’s employee compensation and reflects the airline’s financial recovery from pandemic lows. This was reported by AeroTime.
