Hungarian Low-Cost Airline Expands to Israel with New Bases and Route

Wizz Air plans to launch its first route from Israel to Budapest in March 2026, with two new bases established at Ben Gurion and Ramon airports. The airline will operate two daily international routes from Ramon, with crews staying overnight locally. Domestic flights between Ben Gurion and Ramon airports will also be offered. The airline’s long-term vision is to expand its network to around 60 daily flights across the country.
