LEVEL Launches Nonstop Barcelona-Lima Route

Low-Cost Carrier Expands Latin American Network Amid Growing Demand

LEVEL, the low-cost long-haul airline of International Airlines Group (IAG), has launched a new nonstop route between Barcelona (BCN) and Lima (LIM), Peru, starting June 3, 2026. The airline will operate the route thrice weekly on Airbus A330-200 aircraft, featuring a two-class cabin with 42 Premium Economy and 260 Economy Class seats. This new service is part of LEVEL’s growth strategy, which includes increasing operational autonomy within IAG. The airline has already started operating under its own IATA code (LL) and is expected to receive an eighth Airbus A330-200 in 2026. The announcement was made by Peruvian Minister of Transports and Communications, Aldo Prieto, earlier in the month. The service was first reported by AeroTime.
