ITP Aero Acquires Aero Norway to Strengthen Commercial Engine MRO Footprint

ITP Aero Expands Aftermarket Services with Acquisition of Aero Norway

ITP Aero has signed a binding agreement to acquire Aero Norway, a Norway-based engine maintenance provider specializing in CFM56 engines. The acquisition is expected to close in the first half of 2026, subject to customary regulatory approvals. Aero Norway provides overhaul capability for CFM56-3, -5B, and -7B variants, and its customer base includes airlines, leasing companies, and asset managers worldwide. The deal follows a series of aftermarket investments by ITP Aero since its acquisition by Bain Capital in 2022. AeroTime reported that ITP Aero’s MRO currently accounts for about 10% of its annual revenue, with a target of 20% to 25% over the next five years.
