Vietnam Airlines Launches Direct Flights to Copenhagen

Vietnam Airlines Expands Asia-Pacific to Nordic Route

Vietnam Airlines has announced a new direct route from Ho Chi Minh City to Copenhagen, starting December 15, 2025. The carrier will operate three times a week on Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners, eliminating the need for stopovers in Tokyo, Bangkok, or the Middle East. The route is part of Vietnam Airlines’ efforts to expand its presence in Europe and enhance aviation-tourism ties with Nordic countries. The airline has partnered with Danish organizations to promote tourism and offer packages to lure Danes to Vietnam’s beaches and street food scenes. Vietnam Airlines’ Director of Marketing and Product Sales, Pham Thi Nguyet, said Copenhagen serves as a gateway to the wider Scandinavian region, making it an ideal jumping-off point for exploring all four Nordic countries.
