Azerbaijan's Silk Way West Airlines Expands Fleet with Airbus A350F

Silk Way West Airlines has ordered four additional Airbus A350F freighters, bringing its total commitment to the program to four aircraft. The airline’s decision to expand its fleet with the A350F reflects its confidence in the aircraft’s capabilities and its commitment to reducing its carbon footprint. Airbus has received 74 A350F orders from 12 customers worldwide, including Silk Way West Airlines, AviLease, Cathay Pacific, Singapore Airlines, Turkish Airlines, and Starlux. The A350F is expected to enter service in 2027 and will be powered by Rolls-Royce Trent XWB-97 engines. The aircraft has a maximum takeoff weight of 280 tons and a range of 8,700 km.
