Russia Expands Middle Eastern Presence with Modernized Jet Trainer
Russia’s United Aircraft Corporation (UAC) has announced plans to showcase its upgraded Yak-130M combat training aircraft at the Dubai Airshow 2025. The aircraft features an updated avionics suite and new airborne weapons, enhancing its role as both a jet trainer and light combat aircraft. Rostec, the state corporation overseeing UAC, targets the Middle Eastern market with the modernization. The Dubai Airshow, taking place from November 17 to 21, 2025, will also feature the Ansat-M light helicopter and the Su-57E fifth-generation fighter.
