NGA Awards $708M Contract to Enable AI Training for Geospatial Intelligence

NGA Selects Enabled Intelligence for Sequoia Program

The National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) has awarded a $708 million contract to Virginia-based startup Enabled Intelligence for a seven-year period to support the development of AI-driven computer vision systems. The Sequoia program will provide data labeling for geospatial intelligence and machine learning capabilities across multiple programs and directorates within the NGA enterprise. Enabled Intelligence has partnered with BAE Systems, Vantor, Whiteboard Federal, and others to deliver the contract. This marks the largest US government AI data labeling project to date, according to NGA officials. The contract was first reported by Breaking Defense.
