Etihad and Hong Kong Airlines Strengthen Ties with Expanded Partnership
Etihad Airways and Hong Kong Airlines have formalized a new codeshare agreement and reciprocal loyalty program, enabling travelers to book single tickets for multi-leg journeys and have baggage automatically transferred between flights. The partnership positions Abu Dhabi as a convenient hub connecting Greater China and Japan with the Middle East, Europe, and Africa. The agreement was announced at a ceremony in Hong Kong on November 4, 2025, coinciding with Etihad’s maiden flight from Abu Dhabi International Airport to Hong Kong International Airport.
