Aviation Enthusiasts Invited to Explore Civil Security Base in Nîmes, France
Dassault Aviation’s civil security base in Nîmes-Garons will open to the public on October 4, 2025, with a flyover by the Patrouille de France. The event will feature aircraft tours, demonstrations, and entertainment, and staff will be available to answer questions. The base is home to helicopters and aircraft used for air rescue, including the Canadair CL-415 Pelican, Dash-8, and Beech 200. This event is open to aviation enthusiasts, locals, and emergency response personnel. The Nîmes-Garons civil security air base is located in the Gard department and is also home to the amphitheater, Maison Carrée, and Pont du Gard, among other attractions.
