Dassault Aviation Launches 'Architecture des Systèmes Complexes' Chair

Dassault Aviation Partners Institut Polytechnique for Combat System Research

Dassault Aviation has launched the ‘Architecture des Systèmes Complexes’ teaching and research chair at the Institut Polytechnique, in partnership with several engineering schools. The chair aims to develop combat system architects and has begun teaching students. The initiative was inaugurated by French Minister Sébastien Lecornu at the 2023 Paris Air Show. Dassault Systèmes and the Agence de l’Innovation de Défense of the Direction Générale pour l’Armement also support the chair. The partnership was further highlighted at the 2025 Paris Air Show, where discussions with teachers, researchers, and students were reported to be fruitful.
