Industry Veteran to Drive Growth Across Launch, Lunar, and On-Orbit Programs
Firefly Aerospace has appointed Jason Kim as its new CEO, effective October 1, 2024. Kim brings over two decades of experience in the aerospace and defense sectors, including leadership roles at Millennium Space Systems, Raytheon Intelligence & Space, and Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems. He will lead Firefly’s team of over 700 employees as they continue to launch their Alpha rocket, land Blue Ghost on the Moon, and orbit their Elytra vehicle this year. Firefly Aerospace is an end-to-end space transportation company with launch, lunar, and on-orbit services. The appointment was first reported by Firefly Aerospace.
