California Startup Expands Space Domain Awareness Capabilities
Turion Space, a California-based startup, has raised $75 million in a Series B funding round led by Washington Harbour Partners. The company develops satellites and payloads focused on space domain awareness and non-Earth imaging, with a focus on maneuverability. Turion has launched two spacecraft to date and has secured 28 U.S. government contracts, including awards from the U.S. Space Force, NASA, and the National Reconnaissance Office.
