Pilatus PC-21 Training System Chosen by Armée de l'Air et de l'Espace
Pilatus has secured an order for 9 PC-21s from the Armée de l’Air et de l’Espace, which will replace twin-engine jet trainers and increase the fleet to 26 worldwide. The training system is designed to provide a highly efficient and cost-effective platform for training jet pilots. Pilatus will supply the aircraft and ground-based training systems, with the first pilots set to conclude their training in 2023. The order was signed by the French procurement authority, the Direction générale de l’armement (DGA), and Pilatus acting as the exclusive subcontractor.
