Firefly Aerospace Partners with Exolaunch for Alpha Launch Services

Firefly Aerospace and Exolaunch Collaborate on Affordable Space Access

Firefly Aerospace and Exolaunch GmbH have agreed to integrate and launch multi-satellite clusters aboard Firefly’s Alpha launch vehicle, starting in 2022. The partnership aims to provide affordable space access to government, commercial, scientific, and academic missions. Firefly has completed acceptance testing of its Flight 1 Alpha vehicle, which will be launched from Vandenberg Air Force Base Space Launch Complex 2. Exolaunch has launched 140 small satellites and offers flight-proven separation systems and deployment technologies. The collaboration was announced by Firefly CEO Dr. Tom Markusic and Exolaunch VP Jeanne Medvedeva.
